Connect QueryAction to Codex

Codex CLI, the ChatGPT desktop app and the IDE extension.

Codex CLI

  1. Add the server:

    codex mcp add queryaction --url https://queryaction.com/mcp

  2. Start the sign-in. Your browser opens QueryAction.

    codex mcp login queryaction

  3. Check that the server is set up:

    codex mcp list

ChatGPT desktop app and IDE extension

  1. Open Settings (the ChatGPT desktop app) or the gear menu (the IDE extension), then MCP servers.

  2. Select Add server, choose Streamable HTTP, and enter this URL.

    https://queryaction.com/mcp

  3. Save, then select Restart (the desktop app) or Restart extension (the IDE).

  4. Select Authenticate and sign in to QueryAction in the browser.

Try it

When the connection works, send this message:

Use QueryAction to list my sites. Then read the decide-next-move playbook and tell me the one move that would most help my goal, with the numbers behind it.
